Today on May 14 we had this huge fire drill at about 10 a.m. First all of us students thought it was a practice drill but it turned out be a gas leak. So we had to stand in the rain for 15 minutes. Then the police came and the fire trucks, they told us to go to the temple on Airport Road. So they closed down Airport road and we all went walking to the temple in the rain. It was fun.
The temple was filled with Morning Star Middle School Students and staff. We sat there and they finally told us that it was safe to go back to school. Us students where hoping that school would be canceled but it wasn't.
So we walked back to school and reached school at 12 p.m. We had a assembly in the gym for 15 minutes and then we had lunch. Our cafeteria was closed. Our lunch was 15 minutes extra because 15 minutes where cut off of our lunch because of the assembly.
This is what happened at Morning Star Middle School. We are going to be on the news because there was a news person there.
